: D

So, after a week of totally freaking out, things finally have fallen into place.

I got a 100 on my All-State audition!!! Which is amazing!! I hope everyone else who goes tonight and tomorrow does a terrific job- it would be great to have a bunch of EHS kids get in this year. I am very thankful to God for my musical gift and for all the teachers who have annoyed me into practicing. Especially to HC for being flexible and really supportive (even in the midst of all her stress).

We finally got the CDs and parade music, so I can't wait to get into that! We're doing "What is Hp?" by Tower of Power. (I think I mentioned that in an earlier entry).

And Benson finally told me what next years field band show is going to be. "Sillouettes of Soul". All he knows right now is that it's going to some music by Aretha Franklin and Ray Charles in it. And I'm incredibly excited about that, since it seems like a really fun show to do, so hopefully we can be halfway decent for my senior year.
