Today was the college visit at Nazareth. It's a pretty nice school. The campus is nice and I like the community atmosphere. And they seem to have a solid music ed program. The only thing is that it isn't a Christian college, which is something I really want. And I've already fallen in love with Houghton, so that's probably where I'm going to go. Plus the fact their band director already wants me which should mean some good financial aid. And they've got sweet music facilities. And part of your tuition covers giving you a laptop. And I wouldn't have to take a ton of gym. And instead of taking math and science I'd take a 3 week course called "Physics of Sound" during the may term (it would be my only class). And everything on campus there is 5 min walking distance. Yay for laziness! (Besides, after IB I deserve to be lazy in college!)
After getting back from Naz, we went to Weggys to pick up some stuff for dinner and drinks for Youth Orchestra tomorrow. And we ran into 4 people we hadn't seen in a long time, so I had to tell people 4 times the same story of what grade I'm in, what I'm doing with my music, college plans, etc etc.
Tonight Mom is making chocolate chip cookies, which is great!
