Thankfully, it looks like I didn't have mono. I was feeling much better by Sunday night, so we didn't go for blood work (another good thing...if I can avoid getting poked by a needle, I will) and my fever keeps going down. Today I woke up without a fever at all! My mom said it was some type of virus probably (don't ask me to write it- there's no way I can spell it). Anyways, the worst seems to be over so my life can get back to its usual state of "normalness".
The great move of furniture in and out of my room is continuing. For those of you who have been to my house and have seen my room, these next few sentences will actually make sense to you (otherwise, you'll probably have no clue what furniture I'm talking about): I've got a new bed frame, same place as the old one, a new nightstand that's shorter and wider (same place) and a new dresser (same place, same stuff on top of it). We moved the poster above my bed so it's actually centered. The table/chair at the end of the bed are gone and there's now a table will drawers and stuff there. I've put a lot of random stuff on the top (gnome, Godzilla, glass banana, etc) and I'm using the drawers for storage....but I haven't figured out what yet. The chair that was by the window is gone, and the chair that used to be at the end of the bed is now there. And, in a few days, the thing that I've got the entertainment center on is going to be replaced by some desk thing (with more storage). The cabinet next to that entertainment center is already almost empty, except for DVDs (since all those random things are now at the end of the bed). Basically, my room is going to look cool and organized when this is all over. Somehow. I've still got boxes to unload and what not. Hopefully everything will be set by the end of this week.
Well, that was a pointless paragraph!
Today I'm also going to do the 5-hr course (it's taken me long enough) so maybe I'll actually get around to doing my road test in the near future. Still need to work on my parallel parking skills. However, I've got enough friends who actually have their licenses that I can mooch rides for a while.
Other than that, not too much going on (as usual). Freshmen Intros in 8 days. And I'll hear about All-State in probably 7 weeks.
